#9 is a medium length Par 4, accuracy on the tee shot is a must.  Players tee off from a tee surrounded on three sides by tall, mature trees, giving the feeling that one must thread the needle to end up in the middle of the fairway.  Any shot hit to the left of center of the fairway, will leave the player having to hit a high approach shot over a large Ash tree. Go too far to the right, and more trees block your view of this narrow green.  Bunkers guard the right side of this elevated green that is relatively flat but still has several subtle slopes and undulations.
